Solana Beach, CA - February 2, 2024 - The Solana Beach Schools Foundation (SBSF), a local nonprofit supporting the Solana Beach School District (SBSD), is excited to announce sponsorship opportunities for Discovery Fest 2024, scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:30am - 1:30pm.
This year's theme for Discovery Fest 2024 is "Bee the Change," inviting attendees to delve into the fascinating world of bees and explore themes of teamwork, engineering, and the intricate life cycle of these essential pollinators. Through engaging hands-on booth activities, participants will have the opportunity to learn about hive dynamics, the importance of collaboration in a bee colony, and the remarkable engineering behind bee habitats. The event aims to inspire curiosity and environmental stewardship while highlighting the critical role bees play in our ecosystem.
Discovery Fest is an annual event that brings together the North San Diego community for a day of exploration and hands-on learning in the fields of STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and Physical Education. Attendees, including families from Solana Beach, Del Mar, and Carmel Valley, have the opportunity to engage in interactive activities, competitions, and more.
With an expected increased attendance of families from the SBSD, Discovery Fest offers an exceptional opportunity for businesses to showcase their support for education and community involvement. By becoming a sponsor, businesses can align their brand with a highly regarded educational event while gaining exposure to a diverse audience. Sponsorship opportunities range from presenting sponsors to booth sponsors, offering businesses various levels of visibility and engagement throughout the event. Benefits include prominent logo placement on event materials, recognition in press releases and marketing materials, and the opportunity to engage directly with attendees through interactive activities or displays.
"Discovery Fest is not only a fun-filled day for families but also a chance for businesses to connect with the community and demonstrate their commitment to education," said Valerie Charat, Executive Director of the Solana Beach Schools Foundation. "We invite businesses of all sizes to join us as sponsors and make a meaningful impact on the educational experiences of students in the Solana Beach School District."
